'Nurse Betty' is a comedic break from actors' usual roles

·

"Nurse Betty" is not your average comedy. It's not even your average film. Rather, it's a bit of all different genres rolled into one. It goes from being a screwball comedy, to a dreamlike fantasy, to a hit man film, back to a fantasy and so on. It also, along with this year's "The Cell" and a few others, is a true "love it or hate it" film.

DPA seeks new audiences

AU's Experimental Theatre is an unassuming building. Despite its location, however, the theater will see plenty of foot traffic this season, from patrons and performers alike.

SC President outlines agenda of activism

Four fewer votes in last year's Student Confederation election and School of Public Affairs junior Ken Biberaj wouldn't have been able to refurnish the SC president's office the way he wanted. Biberaj defeated SPA senior Wojtek Staszkiewicz by six votes in what student government leaders called one of the closest victories in SC history.

AU needs 'Plan B' for postseason

And now for something completely irrelevant: I recently ordered one of those cable sports packages. You know the ones where you pay more money to stretch your cable dollar and see more of a sport that you really like. Those of you who have ordered a sports package know that from time to time you will find a game like Northern Rhode Island School of Veterinary Sciences against Eastern Illinois Teachers' College in the FurnitureMovers.
