I've been sidestepping this for a whole semester. In addressing abortion, STIs, domination and contraceptives, I've avoided what this column is actually about: sex. For my last column, I thought I'd talk about the main sexual positions. I'm less aware of anal sex positions because I don't have that experience, but I'll try to touch on that also.

Well, it's coming down to the end of my glorious run as sex columnist. This is my second to last article. I don't have any questions, so I thought I'd just use this space to highlight some great sex-related resources available to students.

Dear Pierce,
I am not pregnant, nor do I plan on becoming pregnant, but I was wondering what kind of effects could an abortion have on a woman? Would it affect me emotionally and are there physical side effects? How would it affect my sex life?

Loyal readers: Do you remember PRO from my column, "Patience yields sexual pleasure?" She complained about an inexperienced boyfriend whom she could not get to come. "Whenever we start to mess around and I begin to jerk him off, we go for a while before he just tells me to stop before I finish," PRO wrote. Now, PRO is back with a new question.

As I said in my first column, I want to be the guy who said the thing about anal beads. This week's column is devoted entirely to sex toys.

What does BDSM mean to you? To people all over the world in positive, healthy, sexual relationships, it means Bondage/Discipline and Sadism/Masochism. Last night, the GLBTA Resource Center, Queers and Allies, AU Methodists and Women's Initiative held their annual "S&M 101: An Interactive Workshop" as part of National Coming Out Week.

I'm dating a guy with less "experience" than me, and while when we started dating I didn't think it would be a problem, it has started to become one. Whenever we start to mess around and I begin to jerk him off, we go for a while before he just tells me to stop before I finish. I've never been told to stop before, and I'm very confused as to why he would want me to. Also, because he has virtually no experience, he doesn't know at all what he's doing when he starts fingering me; it actually hurts sometimes. How can I help him out without offending his pride? Thanks for the help!

Well, this week I didn't get any questions, and because I don't make up questions, I thought I'd give you some information I've been researching recently with the help of health educator Kathy Haldeman from the Wellness Center.

I am a 34-year-old graduate student and have a similar problem to the man described as not being able to "finish" in a previous column.

I'm a gay male and am thinking of going all the way with my boyfriend. I don't know what type of condom to use! CVS carries the "Her pleasure," the "Ribbed," the "It's barely there" and the "I can't feel a thing." But there are none that say "Use this for anal sex" (and I know enough not to use spermicide). What do you recommend?

I'm a girl, and my best guy friend and I had sex for the first time this summer. Everything was great -for me, that is. He was a virgin, and we were safe and used a condom, but he couldn't come. The second time, we used a condom again and he was close but didn't. I've given him blow jobs and hand jobs, but he always tells me to stop before he comes. Can a virgin come with a condom on? Maybe the friction is better without the condom and the sensation's better. How can we fix our problem?

This is kind of awkward, but I like to masturbate - a lot. I'm a guy, and sometimes it gets kind of... sore. How many times a day is normal?

This is the new sex column, and let's be clear: this will be a SEX column. I know all relationships have an important emotional element, and college is an important transition period in one's life, but seriously, AU kids have a lot of sex. And we definitely have a lot of questions. If you want to know how your boyfriend can last longer, how you can pleasure your girlfriend to orgasm (it exists) or what to do if the AU Health Center says you're pregnant, you need someone you can ask. Often, you can't ask your roommate or even your best friend.
