Housing and Dining Programs, in an effort to accommodate the many students that want to live on campus, arranged alternate housing for upperclassmen at the Berkshire Apartments this semester, according to Jake Meek, a community coordinator at the Berks.

Housing and Dining Programs recently needed to prop open the second set of doors in the Letts Hall lobby after a complaint pointed out accessibility issues for students with physical disabilities who live there.

Housing and Dining Programs Executive Director Chris Moody said he is "toying with the idea" of installing cameras in the lobbies of AU's residence halls to increase security in the dorms.

Despite mixed reactions from residents about the double-barrier security system installed in Letts Hall over winter break, Director of Housing and Dining Programs Chris Moody said his team wants to expand the security system to the rest of the residence halls within the next few years.

Housing and Dining has changed protocol for room reapplication for the next academic year, including a mixed-gender suite policy in Centennial Hall and online room registration, according to Chris Moody, the executive director of Housing and Dining Programs.
