Marco Rubio promised a “new American century.” Bernie Sanders advocates for “a future to believe in.” Donald Trump says he wants to “make America great again.” Trump’s statement has drawn in the most attention this campaign cycle and has been rebuked by Democrats and Republicans alike, with the popular response from both being that “America is already great.” But is it?

Class of 2020 marks lowest admission rate in AU history

A record-low of 25.7 percent of applicants were admitted to AU’s class of 2020 this spring, marking the second consecutive year AU has seen a significant decrease in its admission rate, according to the AU Office of Admissions. The University announced that a record 19,311 people applied for admission to the incoming freshman class as of March 21, which is targeted to be 1,700 students.

Chance’s creative “Coloring Book” marks a vivid new page in rap

Chance The Rapper begins his third official mixtape, “Coloring Book,” right where he left listeners with his 2013 breakthrough release, “Acid Rap.” As soulful horns fill the first track on Chance’s highly-anticipated 2016 entry, the MC out of Chicago’s South Side proudly sings, “and we back, and we back,” the same words he used to kick off his “Good Ass Intro” on “Acid Rap.” Chance certainly follows through with that statement, delivering a creative, eclectic and optimistic effort that marks his first solo-billed mixtape in three years. Each and every Chance release is a collaborative, collective effort, and “Coloring Book” is no less.
