Over 15 AU College Democrats attended a 2010 Midterm Elections Kickoff Rally at the Democratic National Committee headquarters in downtown D.C. on Thursday, where they heard from Democratic officials and congressional representatives about engaging voters for the upcoming elections.

When our parent's generation watched “Saturday Night Live”, they tuned in to see skits with Eddie Murphy, John Belushi and many other talented comedians emerging in the early ‘80s. Our generation watched SNL to see Jimmy Fallon sing a hilarious holiday song, play Jarret the stoner and co-anchor "Weekend Update" with Tina Fey.

"I'm not wasting my welcome week by not getting into the concert!" This sentiment, said by Shirin Karimi, a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences, was shared by all the students in line waiting to see B.o.B. in the Tavern Friday night. Jarrod MacNeil, the program adviser for Student Activities, could not estimate how many people were waiting in line, or how many people got in to see the concert. By the time Karimi was interviewed, she was in the back of the line.
