• I LOVE my summer classes. Especially the online ones because I can do my homework and stimulate my mind while at the same time having family bonding time.

• I really miss AU. I miss the idealism and passionate activism of the students. I miss the theater and arts events. I miss how every day there were interesting speakers and events to go to. I miss all the vegan food options. I miss the pretty fountain in that little garden area. I miss the wonderful professors. I miss my friends. I miss D.C. Why does college have to end...
• I would rather be on the quarter system like Dartmouth where we have school year round but with more frequent weeklong breaks. That way I could have an excuse to visit friends at other colleges when my friends are actually at said colleges.
• So I’ve been with my boyfriend for 4 years now. Where is my proposal?!

Thank you very, very much for having rants during the summer. Last summer I had severe rant withdrawals, and it caused me much anxiety and sadness. I am humbly thankful that you have appeased your people and let the rant blessings befall us.

• I'm taking two online classes and I have only left my apartment once this week, to get groceries. It is unhealthy to stay in the same room for 6 days straight?
• You know in the Victorian age, doctors would use vibrators on women to relieve their "hysteria"? … I wish that still existed.
• Who is in charge of Eagle Rants now that Charlie has graduated?

• I'm scared my porn fetish is illegal.
• AU really needs to have a dating site like GW has. That was almost a deciding factor in where I chose to go to college. But I wanted a campus rather than a grungy downtown city, so I’m glad I chose AU. But still, DATING SITE NEEDED.
• I miss anonymous commenting on Eagle articles. Now none of the articles have comments on them.
• The college I am taking summer classes at doesn't give professor feedback surveys. Wow. I am SO glad I go to AU where the administration actually cares and responds to what students think of their professors.
• AU needs to have cuddle parties where people can come cuddle together.
• Yale has a rent-a-puppy system at their library to help students with stress relief. I wish AU had the same thing. I miss my puppy!

A lot of us take online classes over the summer. I did it because it was cheaper than campus.

• Dear student who spent 40 minutes on professor evaluation when they are supposed to take 20 minutes: I appreciate your dedication to professor feedback, but save it for ratemyprofessor.com. I have places to be and I don't appreciate hanging out for 20 minutes after class for you to finish your evaluation so I can take them over to the registrar's office. k thanks

• I have nightmares about my landlord killing me. She seriously freaks me out. I really wish AU had enough housing for all of its students because I really don't like living in an apartment complex with a bunch of old people.
