It makes me want to transfer. TO GW. Problem? I think so.
• Summer classes suck.
• Back to AU in the fall after a semester abroad. Not looking forward to the pretentious, hipster jerks or the Greek-obsessed student population. Not once where I studied abroad did I find mindless sheep wearing their letters and flashing their frat/sorority signs like I do at AU. I miss study abroad so much.
• Dear lord, someone please take that Wonk nonsense off the front of the library. It makes me embarrassed to walk in there.
• Oh rants, why must you distract alumni like me while I’m wrapping up my last quarter of grad school? The summer rants aren't even as juicy as usual! Love, a procrastinating alumna
• Who farted? is the funniest question in the world.
• Is it me, or were the finals week rants even more obnoxiously whiney than usual? Understandable. And this may seem oxymoronic, but does anyone actually find themselves searching for POSITIVE rants, or am I the only one who is kind of tired of the complaining? Yes, I recognize this rant is, indeed, negative/counterproductive to my plea.

The point of my rant was to show that the reality of the movement to suppress WikiLeaks resembles the dystopian fiction of "V for Vendetta" and "1984.” Clearly you have no knowledge of metaphor or abstract thought. Or you just have a very low IQ. Or both...
• To the person who compared the dangers of smoking to the dangers of airplane exhaust tens of thousands of feet in the air. Ya, great analogy. Ya, everyone who smokes definitely does so at least a couples ten thousand feet away from another breathing human. Good one.
• If only there were studies that showed dangerous effects of secondhand exhaust from airplanes thousands of feet away.

This was obviously left by some GW student who is jealous he doesn't go to AU. Sucks to be him.
• Why is the university so empty in the summer? I'm so lonely I've started talking to my stuffed animals.
• Who invented the idea that learning should only take place during 3/4 of the year? Other schools in the US (and most schools in other countries) have school year-round. I really wish AU would offer more classes in the summer and more AU students would continue their education over the summer.
• I frickin’ hate living off campus. AU really needs to get more housing to accommodate the needs of its students.
• You're really nice and I don't want to hurt your feelings, but I'm just not interested. It's nothing about you. I just like to spend my time alone. And I like being single. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings.
• AU needs to have flash mobs more often. SWEET
