T-Pain cancelled

The T-Pain concert, scheduled for 8 p.m. tonight, has been cancelled, according to Student Union Board Director Josh Offsie.

T-Pain was forced to cancel the concert due to laryngitis, according to a source familiar with the situation.

Offsie learned of the cancellation Sunday morning when T-Pain's representatives contacted him.

SUB will be coming out with a statement regarding the cancellation and ticket reimbursements as soon as possible, according to Offsie.

T-Pain was scheduled to perform tonight at Bender Arena. Tickets cost $10 for AU students, faculty and staff. Tickets for the general public sold for $25 through Ticketmaster, according to the event's Facebook page.

T-Pain has been performing at colleges across the nation as part of the T-Pain College Tour. He performed at Georgetown University on April 18, according to GU's newspaper The Hoya.
