Eagle Rants

I really wish that people would just learn to say "hi." If you've met someone before, it's the polite think to do.

Wow, those Pike pledges sure were disrespectful at Relay for Life last Friday ... cancer isn't funny.

I hate how entitled everyone at AU is. Not everything is for your convenience, nor should everything bend to your will.

Everyone should always thank the shuttle drivers. They don't come to your job, puke on the floor, scream Kanye songs and expect you to put up with it. The least you can do is say thanks.

To the person who wants to sit with other TDR-loners: whenever I am sitting alone anywhere, I wish I had company. Please come sit with me.

Guapo's last Saturday had miserable music and miserable drinks. Can't wait to do it again!

Oh wait, you're ABROAD?!??!?! WOW! Yes, we know you're abroad, we know because you've been posting about it in your news feed every half hour all semester. We know you're having lots of exciting experiences, and China, France etc. ARE WAY AWESOME. Some people can't afford to go abroad, please rub it in more by telling us how much fun it is every ten seconds on Facebook.

Hey athletes, the library isn't your personal playground, some people actually have to work for the education!!

I wonder who smashed up the bathrooms at Relay for Life? I hope you know that they are making Relay pay for the damages, and some of the money people raised to fight cancer is going to fix your vandalism.

Allow me, for a minute, to talk about the downfall of this university. Never have I ever been so appalled by AU students than when I read the Daily Jolt. Did someone one day decide to take all this campus's undeserved egomaniacs and give them a Web site? I could vomit on my computer screen and produce something more intelligent than what those inane people have to say.

I don't understand the overcrowding at TDR all the time ... Why does someone have to be up my ass regardless of where I am situated there?

Chalky Studebaker's beetball fest.

I hate it when guys have ashy skin. Real men use lotion.

Why does the fitness center close so frickin' early on weekends? Some people actually want to improve their health on weekends rather than get trashed. Do we really "not have the budget" to pay for a few extra hours a week?

I'm afraid to tell the guy I like that I like him because I don't want to get hurt. I wish he would make a move. =(

I shop for shoes online during all of my classes.

I do drugs to feel alive.

A girl outside my room won't stop talking about her date and how great it is ... but I think she is lying.

Hot girl in pink working out on the elliptical Tuesday afternoon ... please continue.

Student Government elections - Wonderful, another chance for idiotic blowhards to pretend they're important. Does the AUSG do anything?

Sassy Chef annoys the hell of me. He never actually ANSWERS any of the questions. Snarky answers may be funny but are USELESS.

I hate these dumb conservatives who actually believe the United States is the "Greatest and best country created by God on the face of this earth."

Being at AU makes me feel like that time I found a cupboard with a magic Indian in it who made my action figures come to life.

I'm tired of people and groups complaining about the AUTO program and why they can't drive more than 50 miles. Why do you silly wankers think you're "entitled" to everything and throw a fit when AU doesn't bend over backwards for you. Suck it up, and oh I don't know ... maybe FUNDRAISE instead of thinking life is served to you on a silver platter.

Dear AU, We are no longer dancing. I realized you paid an exorbitant amount of money for these signs, but it's embarrassing that they are still up.

Section 202 hosts Connor Sturniolo and Gabrielle McNamee are joined by fellow Eagle staff member and phenomenal sports photographer, Josh Markowitz. Follow along as they discuss the United Football League and the benefits it provides for the world of professional football.
