Thumbs up...thumbs down

Thumbs Up to...

Sporadic 70-degree weather... Unseasonably warm days are nice breaks from freezing, occasionally snowy morning treks to class.

Free Metro rides... WMATA should make mistakes more often.

Class squatting... It might be wrong, but it's the only way some of us get to take the classes we want.

SOC's New Hampshire primary class... Even if your favorite candidate lost, at least you had the chance to write about it.

No Pants Metro Rides... There's no reason not to support such a prank, unless you're sad you missed out on it.

Thumbs down to...

The first week of classes... You can't even skip if you're feeling particularly lazy because it's the first week, and no one skips on the first week.

Violence in Kenya... Post-election violence does little to promote democracy.

The movie "Cloverfield"... It's the Blair Witch, except more annoying.

Obscure child actor deaths... We'd tell you who it was, but you probably wouldn't know who we were talking about.

Canceled award shows... They get the win for "biggest letdown ever"

Section 202 host Gabrielle and friends go over some sports that aren’t in the sports media spotlight often, and review some sports based on their difficulty to play.
