AU students were inducted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars Thursday at United Methodist Church. Members received their official society pins and took an oath in which they swore to uphold the principles of NSCS, chapter President Kerri Anderson said. Inductees heard from Amy Hendrick, an AU graduate and co-founder of Facilitating Leadership in Youth, and John Shosky, President of Roncalli Communication. Anderson said the Society's second meeting will be held Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 9 p.m. at a location to be announced and members who missed the ceremony will be able to pick up their pins.
