Monday, Jan. 2 A Public Safety officer discovered that someone had written the American University logo in black marker on a wall in Anderson Hall. The phrase "Tammy is the woman" was discovered written on a different wall in Anderson Hall, also with black marker.

Thursday, Dec. 1 A student reported a woman was unconscious in the 4th floor Capital Hall women's restroom. Officers responded, but the woman refused medical treatment. An individual was yelling into a public phone in the Ward Circle Building, disturbing people in the area.

Wednesday, Nov. 16 A crowd gathered around two fighting students in Anderson Hall. Public Safety arrived on the scene, and one of the students, who may have been intoxicated, fled campus. The Metro Police Department was called in, but the student could not be located.

Thursday, Nov. 10 Drug paraphernalia was confiscated from a male student in Anderson Hall. The item tested positive for marijuana. Employees of one of the shops in the Tunnel contacted Public Safety, asking that a university employee be removed from the shop.

KPU speaker bashes feminism

"There are eternal differences between men and women," said political author and commentator Phyllis Schlafly at a speech last week at AU. Schlafly lashed out at the women's liberation movement of the 1960s and today. "They said they wanted liberation - what they meant was liberation from home, husband, family and children.
