Alana Parker is the assistant managing editor of the Eagle's opinion section. She is a junior double majoring in political science and journalism. She has been with the Eagle since Fall 2022 as a social media editor, but moved to the opinion section as a columnist in Spring 2023. She is originally from Portland, Oregon.
