Women's Tennis struggles, but together

In what has been one of the toughest seasons for any team at AU, the Women's Tennis team lost again Tuesday to Howard, 5-2. Yet considering the state of the AU tennis program and the team's 17-match losing streak, the effort alone is enough to draw praise from its followers.

Lacrosse feels good despite loss

By KEVIN HILGERS Eagle Staff Writer The last 11 minutes of the first half of Tuesday's match at Reeves Field looked good for the AU Women's Lacrosse team. No. 11 Johns Hopkins, with the ninth best offense in the nation, didn't find the net once, while the upset-minded Eagles got a pair of goals from junior Moriah Linnell to trail by two at halftime.

AU Golf wins Lafayette Invitational

It has been a season full of drama, turmoil and emotion, but on Saturday, the AU Men's Golf team made a resounding statement with a commanding victory. Playing in its fifth tournament in six weeks, the team dominated the Lafayette Invitational, earning its first win of the season by six strokes with a team score of 595.

Women's Tennis struggles in winless weekend Women's Tennis (1-16, 0-5 Patriot League) ended PL play Sunday without a win after 5-2 loss to Colgate that capped an 0-3 weekend. The Eagles also couldn't win a set earlier in the weekend in 7-0 losses to George Washington and Big East-leading Syracuse.
