WELCOME TO AU — AU\'s class of 2014 got a formal welcome from the University during Friday morning\'s opening convocation.

A sea of eager freshmen wearing blue shirts were formally welcomed to AU Friday morning during opening convocation. Speakers included Student Government President Nate Bronstein, President Neil Kerwin, Provost Scott Bass and Andrew Popper, scholar/teacher of the year.

AU protester pleads guilty, gets community service

The glass Snapple bottle that Michael Dranove threw at a D.C. military recruitment center was supposed to be a water balloon. But another protester mixed up the request and brought him the bottle instead to Funk the War protest on March 19.
