All I can say at the start of this week's Trailer Park is... it's about time! Several studios finally released trailers for films that I know I've been looking forward to and you should too.

"Ghost Rider" is one of the worst films in recent history. It's difficult to know where to begin with this review, as "Ghost Rider" cannot be explained easily. The failure of this film cannot be ascribed to any single flaw, but rather a whole mess of them coming together into one giant cinematic fecal explosion. Since the plot of the film is ridiculous in and of itself, it seems appropriate to begin there.
Wow, it's as if all the studios suddenly realized that February will be over soon and they have to start caring about making money again. There isn't much else to say, other than these movies look pretty good, although I may throw one terrible one in there just to balance things out. Now if only Disney would get up off its butt and put out a "Pirates of the Caribbean" trailer, I would be truly happy.
Having to write off a month in the world of movies is a sad thing, but in the case of February, it was completely necessary. With this in mind, this Trailer Park looks toward a surprisingly bright March, which goes against the norm in 2007 by actually containing films that might be enjoyable and, dare I say, good. At least two quality films fall around the Ides of March and the rest of the month is filled with films that might not be top-notch, but should prove interesting in the end.
Thanksgiving has come and gone, kick-starting the holidays, and there is no better way to get into the spirit of the season than by listening to "America's Band" - the Boston Pops. The Pops, conducted by Keith Lockhart and accompanied by the amazingly talented soprano Indra Thomas, as well as the Furman Singers, paid a visit to Constitution Hall on Nov. 30, bringing down the house with their lively performance of some of the season's best music.
Not too long ago in a galaxy pretty damn close to this one, geeks invaded this column. However, geeks are people too, and there are actually some good geek movies coming out that everyone can get behind. With that in mind, it's time for The Trailer Park VII: Return of the Geek Empire's Phantom Strike Back, a Tek Jansen Adventure.
Before I begin this edition of The Trailer Park, I would like to discuss some news from another trailer park altogether. If you haven't heard by now, Britney and K-Fed are calling it quits. As such, I will never again review a romantic comedy because it just won't measure up. If those two crazy kids can't make it, I'm not sure anybody can in Hollywood or in real life. However, life must go on, so here are some fun movies to lighten the mood in these dark times.
"Les Mis?rables," the critically acclaimed musical that has entertained millions for over 20 years, has come to the District's National Theatre just in time for the holiday season. Featuring a strong cast and orchestra, as well as some of the best sets in a musical, the tour puts together a performance that is comparable to, if not better than, the Broadway production.
