The Kennedy Political Union and Center for Congressional and Presidential Studies will host actor Caspar Phillipson and author Anders Agner Pedersen next month in an event titled “The Speeches of President Kennedy.”
Phillipson portrayed President John F. Kennedy in the film “Jackie.” He is originally from Denmark and has appeared in Scandinavian film and television. Agner Pedersen is an editor for Kongressen.com. He is the author of several books on American politics.
Phillipson and Pedersen will discuss the life and work of Kennedy during the event. Following the discussion, KPU will present several Kennedy speeches portrayed by Phillipson in his role as the president.
The event will take place in Ward 1 on Wednesday, March 8 at 6:30 p.m and is co-sponsored by the Embassy of Denmark, RealClearPolitics and Kongressen. Tickets are not required to attend.
