Hurricane power outage cancels WCL classes Monday

Washington College of Law cancelled classes Monday morning due to the power outage from the hurricane. Afternoon classes are still cancelled for now, but if the power returns, classes will resume, according to AU Media Relations Associate Director Maralee Csellar.

AU contacted WCL students at 6 a.m. about the power outage and cancelled classes. Another text was sent at 9:30 to all AU students saying “All classes are cancelled for the morning. If the power is back by 10- announcement will be made and classes will resume at 1:30 p.m.”

AU sent a text soon after the previous one, clarifying that only WCL students had cancelled classes. Main Campus and Tenley students will follow the normal class schedule today.

Csellar said AU is still trying to fix the power outage at WCL now, but further updates will be available soon.
