At least eight people died in a helicopter crash in the North Sea Wednesday, CNN.com reported.
The helicopter crashed about 13 miles off the Scottish coast, according to CNN.com. Fourteen passengers and two crewmembers were on board.
Nine vessels were involved in the search for survivors, according to CNN.com. The searchers found eight bodies in the water, Maritime and Coastguard Agency UK spokeswoman Suzanne Todd told CNN. All were wearing survival suits.
A Grampian Police spokesperson told CNN there was no evidence any of the other eight people on the helicopter survived.
