Wednesday, March 19

A resident assistant in Anderson Hall reported an inappropriate message written on a student's message board.

Thursday, March 20

A student in Letts Hall reported another student was intoxicated, in and out of consciousness, vomiting and needed medical attention. The D.C. Fire Department and the resident director on duty responded to the scene. DCFD transported the student to Sibley Hospital.

A student reported a teacher's assistant was acting strangely. DCFD transported the TA to Sibley.

A student in Letts reported another student was harassing her through online instant messaging, text messages and by telephone. Public Safety advised the student she could contact the director of Judicial Affairs and Mediation Services to file charges against the suspect.

An employee reported she tripped over a tablecloth and injured her ankle in Tenley Café. Police transported the employee to Sibley.

A Public Safety officer observed an individual, whom Public Safety had previously barred from the campus, walking toward Letts. The officer arrested the individual for unlawful entry. During a subsequent search, the officer found the individual was in possession of marijuana. A Metropolitan Police Department officer responded and transported the individual.

Friday, March 21

Public Safety cameras captured images of an individual who was vomiting and being carried near the Ward Circle Building. Responding officers determined the individual was intoxicated and suffering from a head injury. DCFD transported the individual to Sibley.

The RD on duty reported an intoxicated female was unconscious in the fourth floor men's bathroom in Anderson. DCFD transported her to Sibley. Aramark workers came to clean the affected areas.

Staff members reported a laptop computer and digital projector stolen from an office and cubicle on the second floor of the Brandywine office building.

Saturday, March 22

An RA in Leonard Hall reported a student was having a panic attack. An Emergency Medical Services ambulance transported the student to Sibley.

Sunday, March 23

A student reported her bicycle and a U-shaped lock stolen from the west exterior of Bender Library.

Monday, March 24

An RD reported a student had shown her a white supremacy flier referencing the Ku Klux Klan, which the student said was posted on Anderson's south fourth floor bulletin board. Public Safety took a report and is currently investigating the incident. It did not find any similar fliers on the fourth floor.

Tuesday, March 25

Public Safety officers responded to a fire alarm originating from the roof of Ward. It found smoke on the building's terrace level. DCFD and Facilities Maintenance also responded to the scene. They determined the air handler engine malfunctioned and caused smoke to enter the building. They shut down the engine and allowed the smoke to clear before letting occupants to re-enter the building.
