Wednesday, Feb. 6 National Geographic Live!: "The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour" 7 p.m. WHERE: Gilbert H. Grosvenor Auditorium, 1600 M St. N.W. METRO: Farragut North (red line) and Farragut West (blue and orange lines) INFO: This festival in its 32nd year depicts the best films on mountain sports and cultures. The program consists of six films - "Balance," "24 Solo," "Cross-Country with the Snake," "Climber," "Aerialist" and "In Flux." Friday, Feb. 8 Workshop: "Create an Everlasting Floral Arrangement" 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. WHERE: U.S. Botanic Garden, 100 Maryland Ave. S.W. Saturday, Feb. 9 Film: "Glory" 2 p.m. WHERE: National Museum of Health and Medicine, 6900 Georgia Ave. N.W. METRO: Takoma Park (red line), then take Metrobus 52, 53 or 54 to the Butternut Street gate at Walter Reed Army Medical Center INFO: "Glory," an Academy Award-winning movie depicting the true story of the Union's 54th Regiment will be shown in recognition of Black History Month.
