Metro: Gallery Place/Chinatown (red, green and yellow lines) Enjoy a creamy cup of German-style hot chocolate and films by some of today's award-winning German directors. "Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune" Through April 8 Arena Stage, 1101 Sixth St. S.W. Metro: Waterfront-SEU (green line) Written by Tony Award-winning playwright Terrence McNally, "Frankie and Johnny" is play about Johnny, a short-order cook in a diner who goes home with Frankie, a waitress, for more than just a one-night stand. "Richard III" Through March 18 The Shakespeare Theatre, 450 Seventh St. N.W. Metro: Gallery Place-Chinatown (red, green and yellow lines) In one of Shakespeare's earliest plays, "Richard III" seduces and slaughters his enemies and relatives. "Jazz in Our Time" All-Star Opening Night Concert and Award Ceremony 7-9 p.m. The Kennedy Center, 2700 F St. N.W. Metro: Foggy Bottom-GWU (blue and orange lines) During March, the Kennedy Center will be hosting "Jazz in Our Time," a series of events and concerts honoring some of the greatest jazz musicians. The series includes a concert hosted by James Earl Jones and an awards ceremony. Jazz artists Nancy Wilson and Regina Carter will perform. Tickets cost $20-$65.
