The NBGSA is a national organization with the purpose of addressing the needs and concerns of graduate students attending schools in different regions of the country. The theme of this year's NBGSA's Northeastern Regional Conference is "Pieces of a Dream: Putting the Dream Together." The meeting will focus on academic and professional development for black students in graduate studies as well as focusing on diversity and multicultural issues in academics. The meeting is also open to interested undergraduate students. Membership in NBGSA is not required to attend.
