Vienna Halloween Parade The Best Little Town in America is this year's theme for the parade. Location: Maple Avenue between Branch Road and Center Street Time: 6:30 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 28

Alexandria, Va. Ghost and Graveyards Walking Tour Take a one-hour, six-block walking tour of Old Town Alexandria. Time: 7:00 p.m. Location: King Street Metro station Time: 7:00 p.m., reservations required Cost: Free

The Most Haunted Houses Location: Farragut West Metro station Time: 6:30 p.m. Cost: Varies Walking tour where you can imagine what Poe would have written about some of the homes and their owners.

Friday, Oct. 28 through Sunday, Oct. 30

Boo at the Zoo Time: 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. Location: Woodley-Park Zoo, Adams Morgan Cost: Free Visit bats, spiders, owls and other animals while trick-or-treating at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. Also, check out haunted trails and over 40 treat stations where participants can get candy.

Friday, Oct. 28 through Monday, Oct. 31

Capitol Hauntings Location: McPherson Square Metro station Time: 7:30 p.m. Cost: Varies Lafayette Square offers a mysterious history. Just north of the White House, come hear the district's ghost stories.

Saturday, Oct. 29

Forensic Workshop-Murder Mysteries Location: National Museum of Health and Medicine, Bethesda Metro station Time: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Cost: Varies Forensics workshops aimed at kids, then a murder mystery providing forensic clues.

Sunday, Oct. 30

Halloween Eve Haunted Georgetown Walking Tour Location: Meet at the corner of 27th & Q streets Time: 5:45 - 8:00 p.m. Cost: $20.00 Walk around historic Georgetown and hear the frightening stories of unsolved murder mysteries. Also visit the homes of John Kerry and John Edwards, where a deceased Kennedy family member seems to haunt residents.

Monday, Oct. 31

Halloween Night Swing Dance with Tom and Debra and Live Band Location: Chevy Chase Ballroom, one block south of the Friendship Heights Metro station Time: 8:45 - 11:00 p.m. Cost: $10 Costumes preferred An alternative to trick-or-treating, don your costume and dance the night away featuring the live music of the Tom Cunningham Orchestra.


Section 202 host Gabrielle and friends go over some sports that aren’t in the sports media spotlight often, and review some sports based on their difficulty to play.
