Training Opportunity: Exploring Intercultural Communication 1-5 p.m., location TBD. This workshop, open to all full-time staffers, explores the impact of culture on our work lives and in our interaction with one another. Faculty Podcasting Conference. 9:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m., in MGC 4 and 5 A conference on podcasting. Hear from AU colleagues, a professor from Duke, and a representative from Apple about how digital media can be used to enhance teaching and learning at American University. You will see how easily radio broadcasts, interviews, foreign language files, and other content can be added to your Blackboard sites or downloaded to portable storage devices such as iPods. There will be presentations and demonstrations with ample time for questions and discussion. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
