Members of AU NORML, the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, celebrated April 20, usually referred to as 4/20, on the Quad. The event offered food, tie-dying and information about the organization.
Brent Kopenhaver Jr., one of the group's members, said the event's purpose was to raise awareness about the legalization of marijuana and "just to get people talking." AU's NORML chapter began this semester as the only college chapter D.C.
