Last Day to Add a Course Contact the registrar or access your my.american account for your last chance to add a course or change your grade option from A-F, which factors into your grade point average, to pass-fail, or vice versa.

On a Sensual Note Auditions 10 p.m., Anderson Conference Room One of AU's a cappella groups gives students the chance to sing their hearts out and earn a spot in the group. Students with all voice ranges and experiences are invited to try out, but baritones and basses are especially sought.

81st Washington Asia Forum 2 p.m., McDowell Formal Lounge This year's forum, "Electoral System Change and Political Party Organization in Japan," will feature University of Washington international studies professor Robert Pekkanen. He has published several articles analyzing Japanese society. The Center for Asian Studies and the Council on Comparative Studies is sponsoring the event. Contact Aria Bailey at x1760 for details.

Teach For America Info Session 7 p.m., Mary Graydon Center 120 Attend this informal session to gain information on how you can help to educate and inspire young students in need across the country.

Visiting Writers Series 8 p.m., Butler Board Room. This annual reading of poetry and fiction by members of AU's creative writing faculty features Cornelius Eady, E.J. Levy, Richard McCann and others. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Food and Friends, a local organization which provides meals to people with HIV and AIDS. Suggested donation is $5. Human Exposure to Environmental Pollutants 6:30-8 p.m., Mary Graydon Center Room 200 Mel Kollander and David Mage of the Institute for Survey Research will present "The Science of Measuring Human Exposure to Environmental Pollutants." Visiting Writers Series 1:30-5 p.m., Ward 1 Auditorium The conference Poetry and Psychoanalysis, featuring Alicia Ostriker and Arlene Kramer Richards will investigate how emotion affects creativity. This would normally cost $50, but is free for AU students. RSVP to Nancy Goodman at (301) 951-3440.

Week-long

SHARE week AU Students Helping Asian Relief Efforts is hosting events to help the tsunami victims and seeks support from the AU community. Monday: Wear blue and bracelets all day. Tuesday: Join in the residence hall competition, AU Relief Challenge, to see who raises the most money. Wednesday: Eagle Nights will co-sponsor a concert to benefit tsunami victims. In the Tavern at 8:30 p.m. Friday: Buy Krispy Kremes at the AU Men's Basketball game in Bender Arena at 7 p.m. and in Residence Hall lobbies at 11 p.m. Contact Amrith Fernandes at amrithfp@gmail.com .


Section 202 host Gabrielle and friends go over some sports that aren’t in the sports media spotlight often, and review some sports based on their difficulty to play.
