Police Blotter

Wednesday, March 31 Theft from Hurst Hall was reported. A female student left her purse unattended while working on a project.

A hospital transport was needed from the Student Health Center in Nebraska Hall. A male student was transported to Sibley Hospital.

A hospital transport was needed from Capital Hall. A female student was feeling ill and was transported to Sibley Hospital.

Harassment was reported due to suspected domestic violence.

Theft from the Sports Center was reported. A backpack was left unsecured and unattended in a cubbyhole at the Jacobs Fitness Center. Credit cards and money were stolen.

Thursday, April 1 A vehicle was damaged in the Nebraska Parking Lot. A student's vehicle was parked around 10 a.m. Wednesday, and at around 12:20 am, the individual went to retrieve the vehicle and found damage to the left front bumper.

An elevator malfunction was reported in Mary Graydon Center. Three students entered the elevator on the first floor. The elevator stopped working on the third floor. When Public Safety arrived at the scene, the elevator had started working again.

A student's vehicle was damaged in the Nebraska Parking Lot. The incident is unrelated to the previous incident in the lot.

Friday, April 2 Medical assistance was needed in the Ward Circle Building. An officer on patrol saw a male student sitting outside, semiconscious and intoxicated. The officer called the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Medical Response Squad, which determined a medical transport was not required. The student signed a medical refusal form.


Section 202 host Gabrielle and friends go over some sports that aren’t in the sports media spotlight often, and review some sports based on their difficulty to play.
