Eagle's Nest to stop selling crack!!!

Smoking crack banned outside residence halls

This week, University administrators made the unilateral decision to stop the sale of crack-cocaine at the Eagle's Nest, a popular spot for many students on campus.

Additionally, the University has ruled that smoking crack within 10 yards of residence halls is a big no-no. These decisions come as a result of the University's new campaign to try to discourage students from smoking crack.

"By making it more difficult for students to purchase crack and limit the space in which they may smoke it, we hope to send the message to students that crack is whack," a spokesperson for President Len Badner said.

While the ban on the sale of crack does not go into effect for another two weeks, some students are already angry with the University's actions.

"No one asked the students' opinions; this was not brought into an open forum for debate, no one even mentioned it to the SGA ahead of time. This is a very irresponsible action by the administration of this University," said Colon Hannae, newly elected president of the Student Confederation, a loose collection of students seeking asylum from their lives.

"This is total bullshit," said Nike School of International Service junior Stelth Krawl. "Where the hell am I supposed to get crack now? What, am I supposed to go down to Southeast in the middle of the night and wait on line with a bunch of homeless people? I don't think so!"

Still, some students find the decision a positive one.

"People are always standing outside Hughes smoking crack and it drives me crazy. Haven't these people ever heard of second-hand smoke? I'm glad the University is making them move ten yards away from the door. Now I'll be able to walk into my building without some idiot blowing crack smoke in my face because he's high and thinks he's funny," said CAS junior Lindsey McHappimeal.

The ban has created a polarized campus, with students and faculty members feeling very passionately on both sides. There was a protest organized outside one of Badner's many mansions, in which students and faculty burned Badner in effigy atop a pyre of crack-cocaine. Three shots were fired by snipers on the roof of Ladner's mansion in an effort to disburse the crowd. Badner could not be reached for comment because he is on a secret mission deep in the Congo.

The frustrations felt by many were summed up best by a student going only by the name of Smacky: "I ain't done a goddamn thing wrong and I'll be damned if I'm-a let the Man get me down!" He then sped away in his 2004 BMW and could not be reached for further comment.
