Surrounded by soda cans, pizza boxes and bags of chips, students eagerly watched last night's Super Bowl match ended in a last-second 32-29 New England Patriots victory over the Carolina Panthers.
While some students were concentrating on the game, others were distracted by the much-anticipated Super Bowl commercials, star quarterbacks and Janet Jackson's titillating halftime performance.
Despite a lackluster start, the game ultimately provided fans with one of the most exciting Super Bowl finishes in recent memory.
"Damn it ... damn it ... God damn it ... f---," sophomore Chris Coppolla said in response to Carolina's poor performance during the game.
However, Patriots fans were quick to gloat about wining their second Super Bowl in three years.
"Maybe if they were actual panthers, they would have had a better chance of scoring," senior Tori DeLucia, an antagonistic Patriots fan, said to her North Carolinian housemate.
