A night to dance at Founder's Day

Grabbing the fingers of her boyfriend and pulling him closer during a dance, sophomore MK McKenna was among many beautifully made-up girls who took Saturday night off from distressed studying to enjoy the festive atmosphere at Founder's Day Ball.

Bustling waiters ferried food and drink underneath pink and blue stage lights. Reflecting off gold, gilded ceiling tiles were images that set the scene for the ball at the East Hall of Union Station.

"It was just a perfect night," said Kyle Taylor, Student Confederation vice president and co-director of Founder's Day Ball. "Union Station was beautiful, the band was phenomenal, the DJ just finished up the night, and everyone looked sharp"
