Monday, Dec. 8

A hospital transport was needed from Letts Hall.

A non-AU student was barred from campus after he was unable to handle a breakup with a female student in Leonard Hall.

Vehicle damage was reported in Centennial Parking Garage after something was thrown through the back windshield of a vehicle.

A Simple Assault was reported in Letts Hall when two roommates were involved in a scuffle.

Public Safety reported at least two students with weapons described as "makeshift martial arts" in the Butler Tunnel. The two students were attempting to find the person responsible for the sexual attacks in Butler Garden.

A hospital transport was needed from Capital Hall in Tenley Campus.

Tuesday, Dec. 9

Public Safety reported harassment by phone.

Public Safety issued an order to bar a person from University property.

A purse was left unattended in the Kreeger building and was reported stolen.

A vehicle was damaged on the road outside the Kreeger building.

A hospital transport was needed from the Public Safety building.

A fire occurred in Letts Hall after a cake burned in an oven.

Wednesday, Dec. 10

A wallet was left in Bender Library and then claimed by a person who was not the owner. It has now been reported as stolen.

A hospital transport was needed from the Kreeger building.

Thursday, Dec. 11

A driver along Massachusetts Avenue drove over the curb and onto the sidewalk near Glover Gate, damaging light fixtures.

A briefcase was left unattended in Mary Graydon Center and has been reported missing.

Friday, Dec. 12

A couple were caught sharing a bottle of alcohol as they were walking through the Butler Garden by the Amphitheater.

Saturday, Dec. 13

Public Safety reported a juvenile writing graffiti in Bender Library. The person was using a black magic marker to write gang markings throughout the building.

A hospital transport was needed from Congressional Hall on Tenley Campus.

Disorderly conduct was reported in Letts Hall when a male visitor took the ID card of a female student, who had previously been the man's girlfriend. He later returned it.

Sunday, Dec. 14

A hospital transport was needed from Anderson Hall.

Driving Under the Influence was reported as Public Safety found a non-AU student unconscious behind the wheel of a car in the middle of Ward Circle. Public Safety assisted Metro Police in making the arrest.

Monday, Dec. 15

A medical transport was refused in Anderson Hall.

A hospital transport was needed from the Ward Circle Building.

Wednesday, Dec. 17

Theft was reported in the Mary Graydon Center after a pair of boots was stolen from a locker belonging to a TDR employee.

A credit card was stolen in the Sports Center and then later used off campus, prompting a report of credit card fraud.

Thursday, Dec. 18

A false fire alarm occurred due to a malfunction in Federal Hall on Tenley Campus.

Friday, Dec. 19

Public Safety responded to a fire in the Amphitheater caused by two juveniles burning one of their skateboards.

Public Safety caught the juvenile responsible for the graffiti in Bender Library and barred the individual from University property.

Sunday, Dec. 21

Burglary by forcible entry was reported in the Kay Spiritual Life Center as an individual pried out one of the bollards on the roadway behind Kay and used it to smash a window. The person then entered the building and stole several collection envelopes in addition to breaking various items within.

Monday, Dec. 22

Public Safety issued an order to bar a person from University property.

Friday, Dec. 26

Burglary was reported in the Asbury Building as a person stacked crates on the inside of the building then entered a secure area through an unsecured window. The individual rummaged around and some items were reported stolen. Public Safety would not confirm rumors as to what was stolen.

Monday, Dec. 29

A false fire alarm occurred in Hurst Hall when a heat detector in the basement was activated due to nearby steam line repair.

Friday, Jan. 2

A neighbor issued a noise complaint to the University after a tree fell from University property into the person's yard. Public Safety was called in order to clear the fallen tree.

Tuesday, Jan. 6

A passport was lost in Anderson Hall.

Wednesday, Jan. 7

Student, staff or faculty property was stolen from the Park Bethesda shuttle bus.

A wallet was stolen in the Sports Center when it was left in a person's clothing in the cubbyholes.

Suspicious activity was reported in Capital Hall on Tenley Campus as residents reported a suitcase was stolen after being left unattended in the hallway. It was later found with residents across the hall that had hoped to use the missing suitcase as a way to meet their new neighbors.

Thursday, Jan. 8

A resident's luggage was reported missing in Federal Hall on Tenley Campus but was later returned.

Cash was taken from a resident's room in Centennial Hall.

Saturday, Jan. 10

A false fire alarm occurred due to a malfunction in the Brandywine Building in Tenleytown.

A false fire alarm occurred due to a malfunction in Anderson Hall.

Two vehicles were in a minor accident in the Sports Center Garage. There was no visible damage or injuries reported.

Sunday, Jan. 11

The Brandywine Building alarm system reported an active monitor point as a flood in the basement of the building has caused the system to malfunction.

Monday, Jan. 12

Burglary was reported in Anderson Hall after a resident returning from break found items missing from the room.

A Park Bethesda resident reported a theft after finding a package missing.

An alcohol violation was reported as Public Safety observed two students leaving the shuttle at Tenley Campus carrying empty bags and entering the Tenley Mini Mart. The individuals were then seen boarding the shuttle with both bags full. Upon arriving at main campus, the two students were stopped and officers found beer in the bags.


Section 202 host Gabrielle and friends go over some sports that aren’t in the sports media spotlight often, and review some sports based on their difficulty to play.
