"The Great Disconnect: Why Young People Don't Vote" is the topic of Tuesday's American Forum from 7:45 to 9 p.m. in the Greenberg Theatre. This is the first time the forum will be held in the Greenberg Theatre. It is usually in the Kay Spiritual Life Center or Ward Circle Building Room 1. Speakers include: Torrence Colvin, director of the Voter Empowerment Program of the NAACP; Matthew Gross, director of Internet Communications of Howard Dean Campaign; Celinda Lake, Democrat pollster from Lake Snell Perry and Associates, Inc.; Tom Patterson, director of Harvard University's Vanishing Voter Project; and Karen Tumulty, a Time Magazine national political correspondent. The event is presented by the School of Communication in association with the SOC Graduate Student Council and will be moderated by professor Jane Hall.
