In the latest issue of the Eagle, I was surprised and disheartened to see the insensitive and hurtful remarks of Nathan Hunerwadel, besmirching the good deeds of heroic Pastafarians and Prophet of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, Bobby Henderson. When Mr.
Dear Editor, I am writing with concerns to Will Haun's article 'Iraq: right war, right time.'ÿ Per usual, in reading Mr. Haun's columns, I find myself in utter disappointment at the lack of informed analysis and the distortion of historical evidence.ÿ In approaching the article critically, I feel it best to target one of last portions, denoting the ongoing war as "the fastest and most successful war in American History.
Southern University in Baton Rouge, La, a historically black college, fired its registrar, Cleo Carroll, in 2003 after learning he had falsified the grades of 10 students. Recently during a quiet dinner in TDR my train of thought was abruptly interrupted by a wonderfully tolerant American University student who decided that it would be clever to place flyers touting "Flying Spaghetti Monsterism" (FSM) on the tables around the cafeteria.
Dear Editor, In your staff editorial regarding the "holiday tree" debate, you miss the main point. You mention towards the end that "Christmas is of course a Christian holiday, hence the name, but many of the activities surrounding Dec. 25 are not religious in nature.

Dear Editor, I am as big as a Nationals fan as the next person.ÿ I was there for opening day, I was there for the game that student life sponsored.ÿ I have the hat, I have the programs.ÿ I am a fan.ÿ However, this new stadium is a bad idea.ÿ ÿThe mayor has attempted to sell the citizens and the residents of the District of Columbia on it with the premise that it will be good for economic development and points to that wonderful example of what Camden Yards have done for Baltimore, as well as Campbell Field for Camden, NJ.
