“I haven’t played third base since I was twelve,” said club baseball senior Trevor Anderson before trotting out to the hot corner to take infield before game two of a doubleheader in Southwest D.C. on April 6. Anderson caught the first game and is now playing third as a necessity, due to the just nine players who showed up on the sunny April afternoon.

Despite the less-than-ideal conclusion, Duane Simpkins’ first season as head coach was not a disappointment in his eyes, and he wants the team to remember their successes throughout the year as well.

If anyone knows soccer inside and out, it’s Ethan Boyle. The senior midfielder from Denver has been surrounded by the sport his whole life. Boyle’s dad Robert, played Division I soccer at Bowling Green State University. His uncle Bill also played DI soccer and has multiple coaching experiences at the DI level and currently coaches at Niagara University.

After the college basketball transfer portal opened on March 18, five American women’s basketball players entered, according to The Next Hoops. The group includes senior guards Kayla Henning and Anna LeMaster, senior forwards Emily Johns and Marisa Lee and sophomore forward Molly Lavin. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, many athletes have an extra season of eligibility.
