Vice President Dick Cheney speaks at Bender Arena at American University during a Kennedy Political Union event on Thursday, March 27, 2014. The vice president gave a brief speech and took part in an interview conducted by adjunct professorial lecturer Richard Benedetto. The event was briefly interrupted by a group of students who staged a "walk out" halfway through the interview. There were protesters on campus outside Bender Arena.
