D.C. Brunch Fest kicks off Saturday at Union Market

Sample brunch from more than 15 local hotspots

Taste these items and more at D.C.’s first Brunch Fest, open Saturday from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. from Union Market to Dock 5.

Operated under Drink.Eat.Relax, Brunch Fest will showcase local restaurants, popups and bars in the D.C. area. Promoted as an “all-you-care-to-taste” brunch extravaganza, guests will receive a souvenir glass accompanied by small brunch samples. Drinks will also be available, including the Almost Famous Bloody Mary Bar and The Fresh Mimosa Bar.

Participants include B&O American Brasserie, Puddin’ Divine Comfort Food, Old Blue BBQ, Sugar Shack Donuts & Coffee, B. Lin Catering, Poppy’s Stuffed Bagels and many more.

Tickets are all-inclusive and priced at $89 per person, with a cap of 700 available to cover the cost of sausage and bacon griddles, the Boozy Coffee Bar and the Pink Playhouse, offering rosés from around the world.

Brunch Fest will feature a variety of local restaurants offering up their unique takes on fare between breakfast and lunch. DJs will lead fun activities and games.

A portion of the ticket proceeds go to the Spirit of Hope Children’s Foundation, a non-profit providing support and education for children and adults with a mental or physical disability.
