• I'm sorry but having gender neutral bathrooms is disgusting. Different people with different parts pee on toilet seats. I'm also not trying to walk into a bathroom and see a person peeing in a urinal. I don't want to see anyone's parts in that circumstance.
• I had the opportunity to work with Shadburn last year everyone and I can tell you that he is amazing. He delegates, takes control, listens, and works so well with a team. He is a great representation of this school and even if he doesn't have the winning flashy campaign, he is the solid guy that this school needs AU. It may be a new day with PK, but what's a new day when you can have a new year with a newcomer like David? Don't underestimate him.

• No, you're not the only one who doesn't care about SG elections. I'd say most of the campus really dgaf. It's just a handful of overenthusiastic kids. Can someone fill me in on who from CAUS is running for office so I know to vote against them?
• Transparency, eco-sensitivity, and honesty aren't ideas, Shadburn. There buzzwords. At some point, will somebody address the fact that your engagement at this school must have been just barely above absolute zero, considering almost nobody's heard of you?
• Upper-middle class white girl here who's too nervous to talk about her problems with anyone other than her psychiatrist because she's too nervous people will write off her troubles as unimportant because of her relatively privileged background. Signed, anxiety-ridden, possibly depressed, rejection-phobe.
• LOL at all the kids freaking out that Ben Johnson is in CAUS. God forbid someone who actually is willing to fight for students' rights ends up in SG. I wasn't a fan of the pots and pans, but the fact that he's running for Comptroller (while impressing campus leaders enough to get almost all the endorsements!) shows he's serious about making reforms and isn't just protesting for the hell of it, like some other students on our campus. Let's change SG from the inside out!
• So I actually think the idea of focusing on jobs is a really unique idea that could help a lot students with affording tuition. I'd love a tuition freeze and all, and I think people should keep fighting, but helping students get jobs is something an SG President could do now. I'm probably voting for Shadburn based on that alone.
• Pat Kelly: Your campaign staff (or you) is too stupid to Eagle Rant. When you post things back to back, it's extremely obvious that it's one of you guys. Why? Because literally no one cares about you. Stop ranting. Please.

• So I'm a part of the a protestant Christian group on campus and I love them all a lot, I think they're great people and I would love to be their friends but I feel like I'm on an emotional roller coaster with them. One moment I feel loved and accepted as a friend and a member of the community-- the next I feel like they tolerate me, but I'm not their friend.

• Can we talk for a second about how much I don't care about the SG candidates but how incredibly sad it made me that the Eagle endorses anyone? Like, that's not your place... You're supposed to be a resource to students who don't know the candidates, so that we make this more than a Who's-In-Spleadership or Who-Has-the-Most-Friends contest. You're supposed to disseminate quality information without bias or obligation to anyone. I want to have a school newspaper, but maybe if we let you go out of print, a publication with integrity will emerge? Here's hoping.
