• The Chief of Staff does an amazing job AND writes amazing emails.
• COS is a valuable job and much more than writing emails. Maybe SG seems broken because no one takes the time to be educated on the positions.
• @Person who thinks the Chief of Staff is an unnecessary job: I'm not in SG, I don't always know what goes on behind the scenes in SG, but I do know that the Chief of Staff works so hard that our governmental system would not be able to operate at ANY capacity without them. And no, they do not JUST write emails. I am not exaggerating when I say that the Chief of Staff is probably, if not THE, hardest worker on the SG team.You really shouldn't judge based on assumed job description.
