• We need more nerdy rants on here. Tired of only seeing rants about horny 18-year-olds whining about how they can't get laid at frat parties. At least nerdy stuff (Hobbit references, anyone?) are interesting to some of us, whereas your sex life (or lack thereof) is not.
• Shocked at my grades this semester. I'm usually an optimist, but I have to say that I'm left with absolutely no faith in AU's evaluation system, because I truly deserved to fail at least two classes, not set an all-time high GPA.
• @guy who never has kissed I feel you bro. I was in your position and now I have had a couple and Im sad to say I was not sober for any of them. But they did not seem any special..... maybe once a find the right girl , I will have an overwhelming emotional experience.
• There was basically no one in MGC today, and it was awesome. The best times here are breaks!

• I shouldn't have posted about my professor kissing me on here, I'm not really sure why I did. I was just so shocked when it happened, I guess I just wanted to get a sense if this is at all normal or "okay". . . I know it was legal, and I think she's attractive, but it still felt weird.

• I think that people have made the idea of privilege out to be bigger than it is, but denying that white privilege or other forms of privilege exists in one form or another is just dumb. Just look at the education system. If you grew up in a wealthy, predominantly white area you had a huge leg up on the competition. You were coached on how to play the college admissions game.
• My entire life, I thought exasperate and exasberate were different words, with exasperate referring to people and exasberate referring to objects or situations. I've been pronouncing them distinctly and everything, all this time. Now apparently I'm being told exasberate isn't a word at all? This changes everything...
• I haven't had a crush or liked anyone in over 1 1/2 years.. that's so sad.

I thought the same, like the heavens would open up and the planets would have aligned. but nope, I mean it was good and fun but I had definitely been over-thinking it up until that point. enjoy it, but don't be disappointed if it's not perfect. and don't worry, once the first is over, there's plenty more to come ;)
