•Money is just as important as service to your country, your delusional if you deny that fact. Those paychecks military personnel receive are the tax dollars that people like doctors pay for. They are both important in their own right, but at the end of the day, doctors save lives no matter what, and soldiers take them with the "hope" that their protecting others. Don't compare the two, it's a moot point.
•You can afford to stay at AU yet you feel like your missing something because your not in the military. You obviously don't value your education. Please drop out and give your tuition money to someone who wants to be here.

•@Military ranters: after you count the non-cash benefits servicemembers get, they're almost always better-compensated than their private-sector counterparts. Especially if they make it to retirement. Veterans who left earlier - they're the ones getting screwed.
•Hey ranter with friends in the military. I know who you are, and you can probably guess who this is. I haven't said anything because I wanted to respect the fact that you chose to rant about it, but you should know that you're making more sacrifices for the good of people around you than 95% of other people at this university. And AU doesn't want to deal with liability issues like that. And yeah, you can stock up during the day, but to really create a campus promoting safe sex, we should have them in the dorms. Not everyone plans when they want to have sex.

•I have concluded through careful, empirical analysis and much thought that somebody is looking out for me, keeping track of what I think about things, forgiving me when I do less than I ought, giving me strength to shoot for more than I think I'm capable of. I believe they know everything that I do and think and they still love me and I've concluded after careful consideration that this person keeping score... is me.

However being "feminist" these days has such a stigma that I feel uncomfortable being one. Women's rights should not mean free condoms at every event...It's about more than sexuality, but on college campuses that is largely forgotten. Also, not all "lesbos" identify with feminism either. Grow up.
