[Editor’s Note: Previously, I’ve had a policy of not posting SG election rants, because I didn’t want rants to become 90% SG campaigns like I’m sure everybody’s facebook has become in the past week. Initially, I directed people to the comments section to talk about how much they love/ hate certain candidates, but the comments are broken, so I’ve decided to reverse policy and post campaign rants. Personal attacks on the candidates will still not be posted, and I apologize to anybody whose previous rants were not accepted and anybody who will be annoyed by the inevitable avalanche of SG-related rants. Brace yourselves.]
Awkward virgin club: So I'm an atheist thinking about abandoning my current way of thinking and becoming a devout Christian. This way, when asked "how can you still be a virgin?", I can just say "I'm saving myself for marriage"

God I just cannot stop listening to "Empire State of Mind" as performed by the Madison Scouts on the Finals CD. Soooooooo good. Same goes for Boston Crusaders' and Phantom Regiment's entire shows.

I'm all for cute campaign videos, but when my SG president endorses a candidate, it'd be nice to know why, instead of just seeing them drive. I'd have an easier time making a decision if he explained why I should vote for her.
I dreamed I got home in may only to told we were moving and leaving practically everything behind. My parents didn't care that I didn't want to movie, they just went ahead and placed me in the car.
It's not polite. It's over-the-top and almost seems fake. You can order your food politely without liberal guilt seeping through. These people have jobs, and most students treat them with respect. The fact that they have the nerve to give attitude many times is outrageous. I don't need to apologize for making an order. It's not ANY TROUBLE, it's their JOB!
