Top five changes we can believe in at AU

Look, America needs change, and AU is on the vanguard of this change. This university has brought hope to its students for the future of their education and their own futures. It's the hope of a young freshman walking onto campus for the first time; it's the hope of a senior taking their final class. Hope in the face of change. The audacity of hope!

1 New School of International Service building Look, we can't think of a more important time for us to talk about the future of this university. We've got to move swiftly, and we've got to move wisely, and the sustainable efforts being used in developing the new SIS building are just the sort of change we need.

2 Sustainable TDR Look, let's be clear: sustainability is the change this country and this university needs. Let's say that again: we are for a more sustainable future. Our children deserve the local foods and sustainable practices the Terrace Dining Room can offer them. Now let's be clear: sustainability is good.

3 New health care plan Look, the new health care plan implemented by the Student Health Center is the change this campus needs. Though it may, in policy, be a continuation of the past four years, the change in providers is the change that this university needs. Let's be clear: this health care plan is the change this university needs.

4 Growth Look, new students set foot on AU's campus each semester, and they provide growth and hope for the future of the university. Let's be clear: growth is the arbiter of change, change we can believe in. It is hope for the future, the future of our campus and our country.

5 Youth Look, youth are the hope for our future; they bring the change we hope to see. Youth change hope and hope to change hope in the future. Universities have a lot of youth, who are the source of hope and change. Let's say that again: Change. Hope. Change. Hope change. Change, change, hope!
