All-day tourney makes weary wrestlers

Members of the Wrestling team competed in the Keystone Classic in Pennsylvania on Sunday, Nov. 23.

Senior Jared Hyman placed third in the 285-lb. weight class, winning two out three matches.

Junior Daniel Waters wrestled in the 184-lb. weight class and took home sixth place overall. He won three matches, but also dropped two. Sophomore Tom Kniezeweski wrestled well. Although he did not place, he finished the day with three wins and two losses. Not to mention, he collected one pin against a Virginia Military Institute wrestler.

Sophomore Daniel Lobsenz finished the day with a win, as well.

This all-day tournament included University of Pennsylvania, Hofstra, Appalachian State, Boston University, VMI, Wagner University and Virginia Tech.

The team heads back to action at the Sheridan Duals in Pennsylvania on Saturday, Dec. 6.
