10 things to do under $10 when you're sexiled

The study lounge is usually a safe sanctuary for those who have been sexiled from their rooms. But in case students in heat have taken over the lounges, too, here are 10 alternatives for under $10.

Letts-Anderson Quad

Armed with a fresh pack of cigarettes, you'll be making friends in no time. And who knows? Maybe you'll be the one to do the sexiling later in the evening. Under $5 for cigarettes at nearby convenience stores.

Make a sexile kit

If you are sexiled so often you can't even remember where you live, it might be a good idea to put together a Sexile Survival Kit. Stock up on playing cards, snack foods, magazines and any other items that will help to pass the time. Various costs.

Impromptu trip to CVS

Hop onto a shuttle and head over to CVS, where aisles upon aisles of snack foods and body products will tempt you with their goodness. Various, 4555 Wisconsin Ave.

24-hour computer lab

Surf the web, chat on AIM, and do whatever you'd normally be doing if you were chilling out at your own desk. Free (unless you want to print).

Domino's delivery

For $8.99, you can get the AU special on a large thin crust pizza. The pizza serves four, so share with any other sexiled residents you can find. $8.99, call (202) 362-7500 for delivery.

Subway sandwich

If Subway is still open, grab a sandwich and watch television in Mary Graydon Center. It's been said the couches make cozy makeshift beds. Under $6 for a meal.

Explore another dorm

When was the last time you've visited the dorms on the other side of campus? Sneak past the desk receptionist to see what life is like in unexplored territory. Free.

Redecorate your door

If your roommate asks for only 20 minutes of privacy, just linger pathetically outside of the door. This is an excellent time to clean off your dry erase board or rearrange the door decorations. Free.

Heat up a frozen entre

You've always wanted to try Lean Pockets from the Eagle's Nest. Now's the time! $4.25, Eagle's Nest.

The Eagle office

We're known for being up at strange hours of the night. Stop by the office and pick up an assignment; we feel your pain. Free.

Section 202 host Gabrielle and friends go over some sports that aren’t in the sports media spotlight often, and review some sports based on their difficulty to play.
