On the new AU policies

The AU campus and community are facing a new combination of policy restructuring and applicable punishments deemed necessary by Campus Life and other supporting entities. Justification is needed as we see the affects of two separate issues now taking the front stage for the beginning of the new school year.

Staff Editorial: Tenley campus is part of AU too

After Hurricane Isabel, power was knocked out of many parts of the region, including AU satellite campuses Tenley and Park Bethesda. The power outages led to no electricity for several days, no Internet and the closing of the Tenley dining hall. Now that electricity has returned, we can look back on how we acted during the hurricane.

S.A.S.: ship full of holes

Effective in Fall 2004, American University will no longer accept credit from the University of Pittsburgh's Semester at Sea. Other schools also deny credit, including Georgetown, George Washington, Emory, University of Pennsylvania, Vanderbilt, Brown, Harvard, Skidmore, Boston College, Kenyon, Macalester, Tufts and Wesleyan.
