Beginning in the next academic year, prospective student-athletes will follow a recruiting model that more closely resembles non-athletic recruiting schedules, the NCAA Division I Student-Athlete Advisory Committee announced Wednesday through a press release.

The top-seeded AU women's basketball team beat Lafayette 55-35 in the Patriot League quarterfinal Monday evening. The Eagles (24-6, 17-2 PL) will now face Army West Point in the semifinal game on Thursday night in Bender Arena.
The AU women’s lacrosse team had good spirit on Friday against Central Michigan, cheering their teammates on from the sidelines and yelling out instructions to help the Eagles jump out to an early lead. The team plummeted, however, during the second half, losing their second game of the season to Central Michigan 12-10 at Jacobs Field.

The AU women’s basketball team put together another strong team performance Wednesday, widening their lead at the top of the Patriot League standings. The Eagles beat Loyola Maryland 69-56 on Wednesday in Bender Arena. Senior forward Michael Harris and senior guard Emily Kinneston led the team in points, helping AU claim their 13th win in a row.
