Last season, American University wrestling finished ninth of 17 teams at the EIWA Championships, earning six place-winners and three automatic NCAA qualifiers. While it was a solid season for AU wrestling, it marked the first time AU ranked below eighth at the event since the 2014-15 season.

After ordering the United States’s reentry into the Paris Climate Agreement on his first day in office, Biden issued a multipart executive order that promises a significant reduction in fossil fuel emissions, an investment in sustainable infrastructure, more jobs in the renewable energy sector and many more actions to fight climate change.

Thanks to a potent offensive attack and dazzling performances from its two young bigs, the American University women’s basketball team (2-3) cruised to a vital 64-45 in-division win over Loyola (0-3) Saturday. Even on an afternoon in which the Greyhounds kept AU junior guard Jade Edwards at bay, the Eagles' secondary scorers brought enough energy and production to secure the victory.

The American University women’s basketball team had a shaky 2019-20 season, finishing seventh in the conference, yet it nearly snuck away with a win in the quarterfinals of the Patriot League Tournament falling 46-44 to the second-seeded Boston University. Throughout the season, the Eagles were riddled with inconsistent offensive performances, poor rebounding and a bevy of underclassmen who still looked a year away.
