In 2015, 16-year-old Juan Soto signed a $1.5 million deal with the Washington Nationals. At 16 Soto was considered to have an “above-average offensive tools and a graceful swing,” Jesse Sanchez, a national reporter for the MLB, reported after the Nationals acquired Soto.
