A group of AU music students protested their orchestra director’s tenure denial Wednesday around campus, saying the music department is often neglected by University administration.
Jesus “Manny” Berard has been AU’s orchestra director for the past five years. He was denied tenure last year.

Several lap tops were stolen inside the library during the 2008-2009 academic year. Mayer said he hopes the security system will be fully operational by March 1.
